Centre of Excellence in Maritime and Shipbuilding (CEMS) is a Section 8 ‘Not for Profit’ Company started in 2017 by Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways under its prestigious Sagarmala Project. CEMS is a dedicated knowledge and skill development centre for facilitating professional development and skill enhancement in Maritime, Infrastructure and Manufacturing sectors. CEMS is equipped with a world-class infrastructure in its labs located at Visakhapatnam and Mumbai having a cyber-physical network in various functional domains of learning with Industry 4.0 focus.
